Our Process
Discovering Your Story
At Madison Planning Group, we start by listening to your story—including your financial goals, fears, current circumstances, and any other information about you that may help us create a strategy that’s truly the best fit for you. We’ll ask questions you may not have considered. We talk about your relationship with money, and what has worked—and not worked—for you in the past when it comes to growing and preserving your wealth.
Defining Your Approach
Next, we begin analyzing that information to create a personalized strategy that includes all aspects of your financial planning. Our goal: to help you make your long-term financial goals a reality. We identify our initial recommendations and present a complete “working” report. And while we’re confident our suggestions will address your situation, we understand that decisions about your money are complex. That’s why we take the time to educate you on each component of your plan and then make adjustments together until everything feels right to you.
Putting Your Plan Into Action
Once we’ve defined your optimal approach, we complete the formalities of our working relationship. All the necessary paperwork is signed, and we provide you with our new client welcome kit, walk through the roles and responsibilities of our team members, and give you a timeline for the implementation of your plan. Then, finally, we put your plan into action.
Keeping the Ball Rolling
Of course, once your plan is in place, we never stop working to keep you in track toward your goals. We’ll formally review your plan at least once each year, and we’ll keep a constant eye on any personal or global changes that may dictate a shift in your strategy. We’ll work together to make any necessary changes, and we’ll communicate with you regularly to keep you on track toward your long-term financial goals.
