As a Managing Partner at Madison Planning Group, I specialize in retirement planning, goal-based comprehensive planning, and tax strategies for small-to-medium-sized businesses. I am motivated by helping clients meet their long-term financial dreams and building relationships with clients and their families. It is very rewarding to assist businesses in saving money with their taxes, and I always look forward to providing solutions for the owners and executives of these companies so that they can grow their businesses.
When I was fifteen, a friend of my father’s took me out on the dock of his lake house and confessed to me, “Your dad is the reason we were able to do this.” This was perhaps one of the most essential moments that spurred me toward working in the financial services industry, and I began to think about working with my father at Madison. From there, I went on to attend the University of Denver, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in marketing with a focus on finance and management. I currently hold Series 7, 24, and 66 securities licenses as well.
By the time I graduated, I knew that the financial services industry was where I wanted to be because I wanted to help people – but I wanted to learn more about the business before I joined my father at his firm. So, I began working at Royal Alliance, Madison Planning Group’s broker-dealer, where I worked in advisory services and supported the firm’s independent advisors. After two years, I’d earned the respect of my colleagues and of the advisors I served, and Gary asked me to join Madison when he recognized my growth and my knowledge. Today, I have the privilege to provide my clients with their own peace of mind, even in the most difficult times.
When I’m not helping as many people as I can, I enjoy running, swimming, snowboarding, and spending time outdoors with family and friends. I currently live in Port Chester, New York, where you can often find me at a great bakery downtown or on a running route in Greenwich or Rye.
