As both the Vice President and a Financial Planner at Madison Planning Group, I specialize in helping people help themselves achieve financial security. I strive to help clients focus on their future segmentally, and I apply a strategic planning approach when I assist clients: where they are now, where they want to be in the future, and how they think we should get there.
My interest in finance actually began with an interest in marketing. My first job at MetLife incorporated aspects of both business and economics, and as I gained more experience, I came to realize that financial planning joins the understanding of how people think with having a talent for handling numbers. Prior to working at MetLife, I attended Colby College, where I received a bachelor’s degree in business, and shortly afterwards, I attended Seton Hall University, where I obtained my MBA. Over the span of 51 years working in the financial industry, I have obtained Series 6, 7, and 66 securities licenses. I also served on the advisory board at the Stern School of Business at NYU and I belonged to multiple Worksite Marketing Industry organizations.
Although I am a native of Cliffside Park, New Jersey, I currently reside in Pomona, New York so that my wife Mona and I can be closer to our three children and seven grandchildren. While my grandchildren are now my number one focus, I like to spend any free time playing golf, watching sports, and studying history.
